⚠️ जरूरी अलर्ट: RRB ALP 2026 Online Form की Last Date 14 June 2026 (रात 11:59 बजे) है। Apply करें सिर्फ rrbapply.gov.in पर। एक से ज्यादा RRB में apply करने पर candidature रद्द होगी। इस बार दो बड़े बदलाव हुए हैं — CBT 1 से General Awareness हटा और Final Merit Formula 50:50 हो गया।
RRB ALP 2026 क्या है — और इस बार क्या बदला?
Indian Railways में Assistant Loco Pilot (ALP) का मतलब है Train Driver के साथ बैठकर train चलाना, equipment monitor करना और technical operations handle करना। यह field job है — control room नहीं, actual railway operations।
Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) ने CEN No. 01/2026 के तहत 11,127 ALP पदों पर भर्ती निकाली है। Application 15 May 2026 से शुरू है और last date है 14 June 2026।
लेकिन सिर्फ vacancy की खबर काफी नहीं। इस बार दो बड़े changes हुए हैं जो पिछली ALP भर्तियों से बिल्कुल अलग हैं:
बदलाव 1 — CBT 1 से General Awareness हटा: पहले CBT 1 में 4 sections होते थे — Maths, Reasoning, General Science और General Awareness। इस बार General Awareness section पूरी तरह हटा दिया गया है। Questions की संख्या वही 75 रही, लेकिन अब सिर्फ 3 sections हैं।
बदलाव 2 — Final Merit Formula बदला 50:50: पहले Final Merit = CBT 2 Part A के 70% + CBAT के 30% था। अब यह 50% CBT 2 Part A + 50% CBAT हो गया है। CBAT अब equally important है — इसे हल्के में मत लें Read More।

Vacancies — 11,127 पद, 21 RRBs में
इस भर्ती में vacancies सभी 21 Railway Recruitment Boards और 17 railway zones में बँटी हैं।

सबसे जरूरी बात: आप सिर्फ एक RRB में apply कर सकते हैं। दो या ज्यादा RRBs में apply करने पर पूरी candidature रद्द होगी। RRB choose करने से पहले सोचें — जहाँ vacancy ज्यादा हो, जो zone आपके नजदीक हो, और जिस zone में आप posting लेना चाहते हों।
Eligibility — कौन Apply कर सकता है?
आयु सीमा (01 July 2026 के अनुसार):

शैक्षणिक योग्यता — 4 रास्ते:
Option 1 (सबसे Common): 10th Pass (Matriculation/SSLC) + NCVT/SCVT से recognized ITI certificate relevant trade में
Option 2: 10th Pass + Act Apprenticeship (relevant trade में complete)
Option 3: 3 साल का Engineering Diploma (Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics / Automobile)
Option 4: Engineering Degree (eligible streams में)
ITI वालों के लिए जरूरी बात: ITI certificate पर NCVT या SCVT का stamp होना चाहिए। Unrecognized private ITI valid नहीं होगी।
Common eligible trades: Electrician, Fitter, Mechanic (Diesel/Motor Vehicle/Radio & TV), Electronics Mechanic, Wireman, Turner, Machinist, Instrument Mechanic, Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Mechanic। Exact list official notification PDF में है।
Application Fee — और Refund का फायदा

Online Form कैसे भरें — Step-by-Step
Step 1: Official Website खोलें सिर्फ → rrbapply.gov.in। कोई और website नहीं।
Step 2: Account Create या Login करें पहले कभी RRB में apply किया है? पुराना account use करें — same credentials। नए candidates: “Create Account” पर click करें, नाम, Email, Mobile से register करें।
Pro Tip: Account बनाते समय जो Mobile Number और Email डालें — वो बाद में बदल नहीं सकते। Primary contact details सोच-समझकर डालें।
Step 3: RRB Select करें — एक बार, सोच-समझकर यह permanent choice है। बाद में Modification Window में ₹250 देकर बदल सकते हैं, लेकिन account creation के बाद RRB choice modify नहीं होती। पहले clear करें।
Step 4: Personal और Academic Details भरें नाम (10th certificate के अनुसार), DOB, category, educational qualification, trade — सब carefully भरें।
Step 5: Aadhar Verification Aadhar-based verification mandatory है। आपके Aadhar में नाम और 10th certificate में नाम exactly match होना चाहिए।
Pro Tip: पहले Aadhar और 10th marksheet साथ रखें और compare करें। Mismatch होने पर पहले Aadhar update करें, फिर form भरें।
Step 6: Documents Upload करें
- Passport size photo (white background, recent)
- Signature
- 10th certificate
- ITI/Diploma certificate
- Caste certificate (अगर applicable)
Step 7: Fee Pay करें और Confirmation लें Payment के बाद confirmation page का screenshot और PDF दोनों save करें।
2026 का नया Exam Pattern — पूरी Detail
⚠️ इस बार क्या बदला — पहले यह समझें
पिछली ALP भर्तियों से 2026 में दो fundamental changes हैं:
- CBT 1 से General Awareness हटाया गया — अब सिर्फ Maths, Mental Ability, General Science
- Final Merit Formula: 50% CBT 2 Part A + 50% CBAT — पहले यह 70:30 था
इन दोनों बदलावों का मतलब है — अगर आप पुराने pattern से तैयारी कर रहे हैं तो strategy update करें।

General Awareness हटने का practical impact: अब CBT 1 में current affairs पढ़ने की जरूरत नहीं। Focus सिर्फ Class 10 level Maths, Science और Reasoning पर। यह उन candidates के लिए फायदेमंद है जो technical background के हैं लेकिन current affairs में कमजोर थे।
Stage 2: CBT 2 — सबसे Important Stage

Part B (75 Questions | 60 Minutes — Qualifying): आपकी specific trade का syllabus — Electrician, Fitter, Electronics जैसी trade के questions। Qualifying Marks: 35% (सभी categories के लिए)
ध्यान दें: Part B qualifying है — इसके marks Final Merit में नहीं जुड़ते। लेकिन pass करना जरूरी है।
Stage 3: CBAT (Computer Based Aptitude Test)
CBT 2 Part A के results के आधार पर ALP vacancies का 8 गुना candidates CBAT के लिए बुलाए जाते हैं।
CBAT में क्या test होता है: Memory, Attention, Following Directions, Concentration, Perception — ये 5 abilities।
CBAT के नियम जो critical हैं:
- कोई Negative Marking नहीं — सभी questions attempt करें
- Minimum qualifying marks: हर test battery में T-Score 42 अलग-अलग
- सिर्फ Hindi और English में होती है — कोई regional language नहीं
- Color Vision भी check होती है — color blindness exam में problem करती है
⚠️ नया Merit Formula (2026 में बदला):

यानी CBAT की तैयारी अब CBT 2 जितनी ही जरूरी है। CBAT ignore करने वाले candidates इस बार बड़ा नुकसान उठाएंगे।
Stage 4: Document Verification
Original documents check होते हैं। कोई document missing या गलत पाया गया तो candidature रद्द।
Stage 5: Medical Examination
Railway की specific standards — eyesight, hearing, color vision, general fitness। ALP post के लिए medical standards strict हैं।
Salary — ALP को कितना मिलता है?

Running Allowance ALP की salary का special हिस्सा है — यह allowance normal government employees को नहीं मिलता। Train operate करने के kilometers के हिसाब से मिलता है।
Promotion Path: Assistant Loco Pilot → Loco Pilot (Goods) → Loco Pilot (Mail/Express) → Senior Loco Pilot → Loco Supervisor / Loco Inspector
हर promotion के साथ salary और responsibility दोनों बढ़ती हैं।

CBT 1 की तैयारी — Revised Pattern के अनुसार
General Awareness हटने के बाद CBT 1 का focus अब 3 areas पर है:
Mathematics (Class 10 level): Number System, Simplification, HCF-LCM, Percentage, Profit-Loss, Ratio, Time & Work, Time-Distance-Speed, Simple & Compound Interest, Geometry basics।
General Intelligence & Reasoning: Analogies, Series (Number/Alphabetical), Coding-Decoding, Blood Relations, Direction Sense, Mirror Image, Odd One Out, Syllogism।
General Science (Class 10 NCERT): Physics — Force, Motion, Electricity, Light; Chemistry — Metals, Non-metals, Chemical Reactions, Acids-Bases; Biology — Cell, Human Body, Diseases।
Timing Strategy: 75 questions, 60 minutes = 48 seconds per question। Speed और accuracy दोनों जरूरी हैं। Negative Marking है, इसलिए जो नहीं पता उसे छोड़ें।
10 Common सवाल — RRB ALP 2026
Q1. Application की last date क्या है? 14 June 2026 (रात 11:59 बजे)। Fee Payment की last date 16 June है।
Q2. इस बार Exam Pattern में क्या बदला? दो changes: (1) CBT 1 से General Awareness हटाया गया। (2) Final Merit Formula 70:30 से बदलकर 50:50 (CBT 2 Part A : CBAT) हो गया।
Q3. एक से ज्यादा RRB में apply कर सकते हैं? नहीं। Multiple RRB applications = candidature रद्द।

अगर आप पिछले साल या कुछ समय से ALP की तैयारी कर रहे हैं — तो यह 2026 notification आपके लिए एक important update है।
CBT 1 में General Awareness हटा दी गई है। जो समय आप current affairs पढ़ने में लगाते थे — वो अब Maths और Science में लगाएं। और CBAT को अब CBT 2 जितनी ही seriously लें — merit का 50% वहीं से आएगा।
