⚠️ जरूरी अलर्ट: SSC CGL 2026 Online Application 21 May 2026 से शुरू है। Last Date है 22 June 2026 (रात 11:00 बजे)। Fee Payment की Last Date 23 June 2026। Form Correction Window 29 June – 1 July 2026। इस बार Sectional Timing introduce हुई है — यह सबसे बड़ा बदलाव है। पुरानी strategy काम नहीं करेगी।
SSC CGL 2026 क्या है — और इस बार क्या बदला?
अगर आपने Graduation complete कर ली है और Central Government में Officer Level job चाहते हैं — Income Tax Inspector, CBI Sub-Inspector, Customs Inspector, Auditor, Assistant Section Officer — तो SSC CGL वह exam है जो यह सब एक ही notification में देती है।
Staff Selection Commission (SSC) ने 21 May 2026 को SSC CGL 2026 का official notification जारी किया। इसके तहत 40 अलग-अलग Group B और Group C पदों पर कुल 12,256 vacancies announce की गई हैं।
SSC CGL एक national-level recruitment exam है जो साल में एक बार conduct होती है और हर साल 25 लाख से ज्यादा candidates apply करते हैं।
लेकिन 2026 में सिर्फ notification नहीं, तीन बड़े बदलाव भी हुए हैं:
बदलाव 1 — Sectional Timing (सबसे बड़ा बदलाव): Tier 1 और Tier 2 दोनों में इस बार Sectional Timing introduce की गई है। हर section के लिए fixed time window है — एक बार section बंद हुआ तो वापस नहीं जा सकते। यह एक बड़ा strategic shift है क्योंकि अब आप किसी कठिन section को skip करके बाद में attempt नहीं कर सकते।
बदलाव 2 — Tier 2 में Paper 3 (AAO के लिए): इस बार Tier 2 में 3 papers होंगे — Paper 1 सभी के लिए common, Paper 2 JSO पदों के लिए और Paper 3 AAO यानी Assistant Audit Officer के लिए। AAO post को इस बार भी include किया गया है।
बदलाव 3 — OTR Portal (New Registration System): पुरानी SSC website पर registered candidates को नए SSC portal पर नया OTR (One Time Registration) बनाना होगा — पुरानी credentials काम नहीं करेंगी।

Correction Window Note: SSC CGL ने 29 June से 1 July 2026 तक application correction window रखी है। इस window के बाद कोई भी बदलाव नहीं होगा।
Vacancies — 12,256 पद, 40 Posts
इस बार vacancy पिछले दो सालों के मुकाबले थोड़ी कम है, लेकिन Central Government में stable career के लिए यह अभी भी एक significant opportunity है।
सबसे ज्यादा पसंद किए जाने वाले पद:
Income Tax Inspector, Assistant Section Officer in MEA, Assistant Audit Officer, Examiner — ये सबसे preferred posts हैं salary और promotion opportunities की वजह से।

कुछ पदों जैसे Inspector (Central Excise), Preventive Officer, Sub-Inspector in CBI/NIA के लिए physical standards भी होते हैं।
Eligibility — कौन Apply कर सकता है?
आयु सीमा (01 August 2026 के अनुसार):
Candidates की आयु 18 से 32 वर्ष के बीच होनी चाहिए। अलग-अलग posts के लिए age limit अलग है:

अधिकतर Posts: किसी recognized university से Graduation (किसी भी stream में)
Junior Statistical Officer (JSO): Graduation में Statistics एक subject + 60% marks। इस बार SSC ने Statistical Investigator eligibility expand की है — AI, Data Science, Computer Science और IT graduates भी अब eligible हैं।
Assistant Audit Officer: Graduation + Commerce/Accounts में knowledge preferred
Pro Tip: Final year students apply कर सकते हैं, लेकिन Document Verification तक Degree complete होनी चाहिए।

Online Form कैसे भरें — Step-by-Step
Step 1: ssc.gov.in खोलें सिर्फ official SSC portal — ssc.gov.in। या SSC की MySSC mobile app use करें।
Step 2: OTR (One Time Registration) बनाएं पुरानी SSC website पर register किए candidates को नया OTR बनाना होगा। पुरानी credentials new portal पर काम नहीं करेंगी।
OTR में: नाम, Email, Mobile, Aadhar Number, DOB, educational qualification — एक बार भरो, बार-बार नहीं।
Pro Tip: Aadhar verification mandatory है। Aadhar में नाम और Graduation certificate में नाम match होना चाहिए।
Step 3: Application Form भरें OTR login के बाद CGL 2026 application open करें। Personal details (OTR से auto-fill होंगी), post preference, exam city choice भरें Read More।
Step 4: Documents Upload करें
- Passport Size Photo (recent, white background)
- Signature
- Size और format SSC notification में specified है — पहले check करें
Step 5: Fee Pay करें General/OBC — ₹100। Exempt categories — skip।
Step 6: Submit और Print लें Confirmation page का PDF save करें। Application Number note करें।
Step 7: Correction Window में Review करें 29 June – 1 July 2026 में form एक बार review करें। कोई गलती दिखे तो correct करें।
2026 का नया Exam Pattern — Sectional Timing की पूरी समझ
⚠️ Sectional Timing — यह बदलाव क्यों इतना important है?
Tier 1 में हर section के लिए 15 minutes का time है। Time management अब पहले से ज्यादा कठिन होगी।
इसका practical मतलब: अब आपको हर subject में balanced होना होगा। सिर्फ Maths में strong होकर English छोड़ने की strategy काम नहीं करेगी।
Stage 1: Tier 1 (Qualifying Stage)
Tier 1 Exam Duration: 60 Minutes। Negative Marking: 0.5 mark प्रत्येक गलत उत्तर पर।

Qualifying Nature: Tier 1 सिर्फ screening test है — Final Merit में Tier 1 के marks नहीं जुड़ते। Final rank पूरी तरह Tier 2 performance पर based होती है।
General Category के लिए Tier 1 में safe score है 160+ marks।

Top 5 Posts — कौन सा चुनें?
हर candidate का preference अलग होता है, लेकिन candidates के बीच 5 posts सबसे ज्यादा demanded हैं:
1. Assistant Section Officer (MEA) Foreign Ministry में posting। Foreign postings का chance, diplomatic exposure। Pay Level 7।
2. Income Tax Inspector (CBDT) Field investigation, raids, assessments। Uniform, authority, rapid promotion। Pay Level 7।
3. Sub-Inspector (CBI) India की premier investigation agency। Prestige, challenging work। Pay Level 6।
4. Assistant Audit Officer (AAO) सबसे ज्यादा salary। Finance & audit background वालों के लिए best option। Pay Level 8।
5. Junior Statistical Officer (JSO) Statistics graduates के लिए specialized role। Data Science और AI graduates भी अब eligible। Pay Level 6।

Sectional Timing के साथ Preparation Strategy
Sectional Timing के साथ सबसे बड़ी strategy यह है कि हर section में अलग-अलग mock tests practice करें — timer के साथ। जो aspirants sectional timer के साथ practice करेंगे, उनको exam day पर decisive advantage होगा।
Tier 1 के लिए Section-Wise Time Distribution:
- Reasoning (15 min): Easy questions पहले attempt करें। Complex puzzles skip करें।
- General Awareness (15 min): यहाँ सबसे ज्यादा speed possible है — जो पता है वो attempt करें।
- Quantitative Aptitude (15 min): Calculation-based questions में time ज्यादा लगता है। Easy ones first।
- English (15 min): Grammar और vocabulary पहले, Reading Comprehension बाद में।
Safe Score Target: General category के लिए Tier 1 में 160+ marks safe zone है। Tier 2 में general posts के लिए 320+ out of 390, और Inspector/ASO जैसे high-demand posts के लिए 345+ marks।
10 Common सवाल — SSC CGL 2026
Q1. Application की last date क्या है? 22 June 2026 (रात 11:00 बजे)। Fee payment की last date 23 June है।
Q2. Sectional Timing क्या होती है? हर section के लिए fixed time window — Tier 1 में 15 minutes per section। एक बार section बंद हुआ तो वापस नहीं जा सकते।
Q3. Tier 1 के marks Final Merit में जुड़ते हैं? नहीं। Tier 1 सिर्फ qualifying/screening है। Final Merit = Tier 2 performance।

इस बार Sectional Timing ने game change किया है। जो candidates timer के साथ practice करेंगे वो exam hall में confident होंगे — बाकी 15 minutes में section देखकर घबरा जाएंगे।
